Shimmering Blue Aluminum Urn

Cobalt blue meets engraved silver bands on the Shimmering Blue Aluminum Urn. The ornate silver work at the lid, shoulder and base gives it an heirloom quality.

The aluminum construction is lightweight yet strong, a practical choice if the urn may travel or be moved between family homes.

Make it personal with engraving on the urn (up to 135 characters), or choose an engraved medallion nameplate or wood base, all available as options on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Shimmering Blue Aluminum Urn big enough for an adult?

For most adults, yes. Using the one-cubic-inch-per-pound rule funeral homes follow, its 220 cubic inch capacity suits someone up to roughly 220 lbs.

Will this urn pass airport security?

Metal urns are often too dense for TSA X-ray screening, and officers will not open the container. If you plan to fly, consider carrying the remains in a temporary container and moving them into this urn once you arrive.

How should I clean the Shimmering Blue Aluminum Urn?

A soft microfiber cloth is all it needs. Skip polishes and household cleaners, and keep it out of damp areas to protect the finish.

When will my order ship?

Place your order before 1:00 PM CST on a weekday and it ships the same business day. Engraved orders ship the same day once the proof is approved by 1:00 PM CST, and anything completed later ships the next business day. We are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
