Purple Water Burial Small Urn

Deep purple-plum and cream panels come together on the Purple Water Burial Small Urn, a petite pillow shape tied with a ribbon and sized for a portion of the ashes.

Made from biodegradable paper materials, it breaks down naturally and leaves nothing harmful behind, a gentle way to return to nature.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a small urn hold?

The Purple Water Burial Small Urn holds 59 cubic inches, which is a portion of an adult's ashes. Small urns like this are often used so several family members can each take part in a ceremony, or for a separate scattering or burial.

Are there rules for a water burial?

In the U.S., the EPA allows burial of cremated remains at sea at least three nautical miles from land, and the burial must be reported to the EPA within 30 days. Lakes, rivers and other inland waters may have state or local rules, so check before the ceremony.

How should I store a biodegradable urn?

Keep it in a cool, dry place away from water, humidity and direct sunlight until the ceremony, since moisture starts the natural breakdown process.

How quickly will my urn ship?

Orders placed by 1:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day. For engraved orders, the engraving proof needs to be approved by 1:00 PM CST to ship that day. Orders completed after the cutoff ship the next business day. Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
